Firehouse Subs Manhattan Marketplace

First, I was not asked for my phone number to use my points, and I should have asked, but forgot. The sub came out hot and fresh. It had way too much mayo and mustard and was just dripping with every bite. The place was clean.

I’m glad this isn’t a real firehouse because they are slower than snail balls

The manager there was unbelievably rude. The food was good but getting the order achieved was like dealing with a snobby child. I even tried to call because I sent my really nice husband. Will ruin your mood. Do not recommend.

The food is wet if you don’t eat it immediately. They steam their meat to cook it.

It was the first time to eat at a firehouse sub. I told the cashier that and he was so unfriendly I knew I should have went back out the door. My sandwich was not good and the brisket was so fatty I could not eat it. Then I had my daughter order me a bowl of loaded bake potato soup. We it was not loaded that’s for sure and if was very runny for being a loaded soup. Only I ate that was good was the

3 weeks ago, went in to get a sub. No bacon, no toaster. Since I get the Turkey Bacon Ranch, I left. Yesterday, went again to get a sub, same sign up, no bacon, no toaster, and again I left. Unfortunately they will not get another chance with me. Plenty of other sub options in Manhattan. Walk next door to HyVee and get bacon for crying out loud. Sounds like the management has left the building. UPDATE: Tried one more time. Ordered on the app 15 minutes before I was to pickup to give them plenty of time to create the order.. ONE SANDWICH only. Showed up, 3 employees, ZERO customers (now I know why), and asked to pick up my order. The guy said "I'll start that for ya". Then the 3 employees were more concerned about their school curriculum than making my sandwich. That was my LAST attempt to frequent this store. Management needs to be fired . This store does not deserve to be open anymore. Back to Jimmy John's for my subs in the future.

Great sandwiches and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

The store was empty and the 3 employees were nice, however very slow to make subs. I ordered 2 subs the containers were huge. Got home to eat and the taste was not at all good. Bread was good but the sub turkey bacon ranch and italian subs yuck. The meat was stiff and compressed it had very little taste and it wasn't good. Never again.
