Firefly

Eight of us single guys ate brunch on April 7, 2024. Although the host who made the reservation was told we could have separate checks, the waiter refused. Since each person had a different entree and different number of cocktails, it took us more than 30 minutes calculate each person's bill, write down the credit card numbers and amounts for the waiter, etc. I am not complaining about the $75 service charge (in addition to the 20% tip and sales tax) that was added to our bill, but refusing to do separate checks with such a charge did not make us happy, nor did the effort it took to figure everything out. I realize it takes time to do separate checks, but it is a customer service that does not take long with the correct equipment. We will not be back since we will not hold our monthly brunch at a restaurant that charges a $75 service charge but refuses to provide separate checks.

I was lured in by the pictures of the chicken and waffles and the rave reviews about the French toast. Neither were on the menu. The menu honestly was really sad and pathetic. I ordered a western omelet which was good but not $16 good. There wasn't even an option of which kind of toast. Just plain white bread.

A low-key lavish Easter Brunch. Waiter and other service staff were attentive and fun without being intrusive. Chicken, roasted pork, mashed potatoes were stellar Dessert variety excellent. Will be back. Also was able to find street parking less than a block away.

I cannot say enough positive things about Firefly! Lois was fantastic from the first time I reached out to plan our intimate family wedding and demonstrated excellence, friendliness, and care through our tour and final stages of planning. Omar and the whole team were also fabulous during the tour and then on the day of our event. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being such a wonderful part of our big day! Parking: Depending on day of week & time of day, can be really difficult but still worthwhile. Kid-friendliness: We were able to have a menu for the children in our wedding reception. The team also did a great job including other considerations for children - menu selection, seating, and even TV entertainment before the official start.

Great food and service was impeccable! We had Jenny and she was so personable and made the best suggestions. We will be back our next trip.
