Great place to eat and watch the game.
Hits the spot everytimebfor this girl who used to live 3 blocks south of JIM'S on South Street & 4th in Philadelphia :)
If you want nasty, greasy, fatty gross food; this is the place for you! They use to have great subs, not sure what happened, but food was digusting. Even the fries tasted nasty like burnt oil. What a waste of close to 6o dollars for us to eat there. Never again! They wont be open much longer when word of mouth hits about how bad their food is. They rely on local business people like myself for most of their business. We have 76 people in our office and everyone I've talked to says the same; avoid this place unless you wanna be in the bathroom for the rest of the day. What a disappointmentment. Maybe new management or new employees? Sadly no one seems to care about food quality anymore. In addition, the restaurant was a mess and all but one employee was rude. One even got annoyed when I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted. I even asked for a recommendation and was told; "I don't eat here." Wow, that should have been an indication that the food was gonna suck.
Don't come here if you're familiar with the old Filly's. The prices have gone up and quality went down. It's not awful, just okay. That is, if you want $15 sandwiches and "just okay" burgers.
This was our first time to eat at Filly’s Grinders and it won’t be the last. The food was delicious and my grandkids loved their burgers. Family friendly as well!
