Great place for lunch!

Was so happy today when my friend brought me here. This is my new "Happy Place"

Only the freshest ingredients. Owner is always friendly and helpful.

Oh my… I used to love getting falafel wrap and calamari and today my husband and I were really busy packing for moving out so we got 2 chicken sharma wrap which my husband usually gets. And when we had a bite it was the driest and flavourless chicken sharma ever and the raw onion is so pungent and overpowering. I asked my husband if this normal and he said no. This was the one of the worst food I’ve ever paid for. So before I leave a bad review which I don’t usually do and I just don’t go back but since it wasn’t our first time going there I wanted to call the deli first to express my frustration, and the lady on the phone didn’t seem care and only response I got was with robotic voice “alright sorry about that” and silence. I was like um… and just hung up on her. I didn’t expect to get a free food although it was waste of money as we had to dumb 2/3 of food which I hate wasting food but at least acknowledgement of the issue.

This deli has many Mediterranean items for sale which takes up most of the store. There’s a few tables in the middle of the store for people who want to sit and eat. And there is a big kitchen with display counters that are refrigerated for all the prepared foods that are made here. My favourites are spanakopita, and a Greek dessert bougatsa. Phyllo pastry wrapped around an inner filling of luscious not too sweet custard. I’ve never tried it, but I hear good things about their pizza. in fact, I think I go back today and try it. They also have lots of staff in the kitchen to serve you. Pictures next time.
