I purchased an asparagus quiche and some desserts. The quiche was ordinary and sadly reminded me of Bisquick. However, it was not my main purchase nor the principal reason why I drove several kilometres to get there (my granddaddy would have said he walked several miles in the driving snow wearing only bread bags tied at the ankles to cover his poor swollen feet, but I digress). The desserts were the star attraction and a delightful and dare I say even whimsical step up from the quiche that shall not be named (although I might have named it, who knows). More importantly, my guests enjoyed them. Recommend going for those. The desserts, I mean. And not my guests.

We bought a carrot 🥕 cake yesterday ( June 14, in the afternoon) to celebrate my sister’s birthday, guess what!!! there is a plum stone in the Carrot 🥕 cake !!!!! it’s disappointing. I have been a loyal customer for more than 6 years!!!
