Fat Shack

Excellent philly cheese steaks and good burgers. They also have good fries and onion rings too. We arrived for the lunch rush and the greeter/server/cook/cleaner/checkout was very busy and really needed some help. This is an all too common occurrence where ever you go these days. She did an incredible job getting everyone taken care of. Stop in for a good meal and support this business because it will be worth it.

MY ORDER DID NOT SHOW UP. I ordered delivery and spent over 50 dollars and then the restaurant ate my money, didn’t pick up the phone, and I didn’t get any food. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

Me and my friend ordered 1. 6 pc + fries 2. 3 pc + fries. It was at 12 am which is plenty early before they close and the employee made it seem like it was our problem we wanted food. Once back to our house with the order we opened up to see we only got a 3 pc + fries. Completely missing the 6 pc order. Don’t know how this in the world this happens. We Have proof we paid for my entire order and proof we didn’t receive what we paid for so we are going to need to be reimbursed in some fashion. This is a frequent occurrence at this place it is known for terrible service and respect.

Don’t ever dine here. When you walk in you’ll be met with a smell of some sort of chemical, very unappetizing. The sandwiches are creations that sound good in a Scooby Doo cartoon but have none of the flavor. You could make so many variations of sandwiches at home that are going to be much better tasting and cheaper. I genuinely don’t know how this place is still in business other than drunk college kids waiting an hour for one burger. Don’t let the intriguing menu fool you, go to somewhere better, which is literally anywhere else in Manhattan. Don’t waste a long trip on this place, go to So Long’s or somewhere downtown where it’ll be worth the expense.

It was my first time here during one of my favorite layovers. I got the fat cow sandwich size small. It was so good and so different from what I eat. It's definitely not a healthy option by any means, but it is definitely worth the naughty experience. The staff were all super nice and accommodating. Apparently, this restaurant is under new management and is trying to separate themselves from the past. From the non ideal/ shortcomings to a more positive, pleasant, and overall better experience w/ everything from management, food, flavors, staff, cleanliness, etc. Well, this being my first time here, I don't have any previous experience to compare, but I can say I appreciated everything Fat Shack offered. I definitely recommend stopping by and having your own experience. With that said, I look forward to another overnight here so I can try some of the other menu items.
