Fat Annie's

This place is incredibly deceptive. On first glance there isn't anything indicating that EVERYTHING is vegan. Only after biting into my burger and discovering some plasticine looking bacon did I realise. When I told, who I assumed was the owner, about this he said "We make good food that just happens to be vegan" which sounded like avoiding the question to me. Perhaps this is partly my fault, but It isn't reasonable to expect people to notice finicky vegan workarounds on the menu like "Chick'n" and "beef style". This is misleading, you shouldn't have to trick people into eating your food. Edit: I just noticed that lots of other people have complained about this. Perhaps you should make it more clear so that less of your customers feel cheated.

Had a really awesome meal here, it's nice to have such a great vegan place in Leeds city centre. Had a hotdog, fries and banoffeee milkshake and has to have been the best milkshake I've ever had. The fries are lush too, and the hot dog was a great size and tasty. Will definitely be calling in again next time I'm in Leeds! Vegetarian options: Actually 100% vegan/plant based rather than just veggie

Was excited to try this place as it was a vegan friendly place and looked to be busy and popular. Was informed when trying to order gluten free that they couldn’t do gluten free right now because they had too many orders and would have to wipe down and do it on a whole different section. Do not offer gluten free options if you cannot provide them 100% of the time. There was no offer to wait a little longer for a gluten free alternative (which we would’ve been happy to do) so my partner chose something else. The food itself was ok, plant based patties were nice and bun was lovely and soft but there was far far too much sauce on the burger which made it sloppy and messily presented, and my partner was left disappointed as she was only able to have chips due to them not wanting to be accommodating.

Never fails to hit the spot! I always go for a hotdog because it’s surprisingly hard to find a vegan or vegetarian hotdog in Leeds. Would highly recommend
