I don’t tend to write a lot of reviews but after our experience last night, I am compelled to write one. We had a reservation and were immediately sat on the patio, in the back. The table is logistically too large for the couch and made it hard to slide into our seats. Our server presented us with menus and when we asked what non alcoholic drinks options there were he only said that they had mocktails. No mention of any other choices. My partner ordered a mocktail of some kind and I stuck with water. We placed our appetizer order and then he left. The apps came out fairly quickly. Maybe too quickly. The truffle arancini was way too overpowering and the meatball was so-so. During this time we drank all of our water that was in our respective glasses. It was not refilled. Not once. We watched our server and multiple runners come by our table/section and only once did they check on us, and they still did not refill our water. This was a problem for the multiple tables around us. Because at one point a man got up and refilled his own table’s water glasses and then put the water pitcher back on the serving stand. We ended up flagging down the host to get us a bottle of sparkling water. We got one. But then! the bottle was put in a ice bucket a good five feet away from our table so it was inaccessible. No one ever refilled our glasses with the sparkling water we paid for. Meanwhile the mocktail was not good. Way too bitter. When our entrees finally arrived we were less than excited. My potatoes were luke warm. The $89 dry-aged rib eye tasted like it was burnt, was bordering on getting cold and nowhere near that price point. I felt ripped off. It had way too much marbling and fat to be the right cut of rib eye. My partner got the lasagna and she was not impressed. It was physically hot but the pasta noodles seemed to be the only fresh element. The meat was over-processed and over cooked. The cheese was funky. The béchamel had split it seemed. Not worth the price you pay, again. Our server finally came back and we asked for things to be boxed up. He presented us with a dessert menu and we declined. He asked “Are you sure?” Like, yes, do you see how much food we’re boxing up to not be directly rude to you? Yes. We are sure. We will not be coming back. Nor will we be recommending it for any of our friends/family.

During our visit to the Napa area we made a reservation for a New Years Dinner and after party at Farm. The price was steep at several hundred dollars, but we thought worth it for a New Years Celebration. Unluckily, I ended up with Covid early on in our trip and we had to cancel this reservation within the 24 hour window. Their "policy" is that they do not reimburse anything! I can maybe understand the dinner, because they expect a certain number of people and order a certain amount of food, but the after party made no sense. They could easily sell any unused alcohol at another time. I could not believe they couldn't even provide a partial refund. I would have been happy to share a photo of my positive Covid results if that would help but they refused. We had to cancel several expensive reservations because I was ill and this was the ONLY place who refused to refund ANYTHING. Just not the kind of venue I want to support or recommend to others.

Food is good, our server Jordan is amazing. We enjoyed our time here (and its dog friendly at the patio!!) Not cold at all, heater works fine. Ribeye is amazing x

went here for christmas brunch and a dinner another time. food & service were solid, but the desserts were just ok, though i would come back again. the entrance door to the restaurant isn’t marked so it’s common for people to walk into the wrong door and then have to walk across the restaurant to the front desk. to avoid that, use the leftmost door from the courtyard through the patio.

Wife and I came for a vacation and could not have had a better experience! Justin was our server and made great recommendations with the help of Texjas the Somalia. Amazing experience, will be back again!

Super disappointing meal. Had the restaurant week deal and the trout was super fishy, absolutely no flavor. Way overpriced.

I recently visited The Farm Restaurant on December 25th, and I'm compelled to share my disappointing experience regarding both service and billing practices. **Service**: During our meal, we encountered significant delays. After being seated, it took an unusually long time 30 minutes to receive menus and another 20 minutes to place our order. Furthermore, when our meals arrived, the hot dishes were cold, and the staff did not attend to basic needs like refilling water. This level of service was not what we expected from a reputable establishment. **Billing Concerns**: More distressingly, I noticed a significant discrepancy in billing. The bill I signed for was $283.38, yet my bank statement later reflected a charge of $340.05. This unexpected increase of over $56, without my knowledge or consent, raised serious concerns about potential unauthorized transactions. I've reached out to the restaurant team requesting an urgent investigation into this matter. It's alarming to think such a discrepancy could occur, and I'm hoping this isn't indicative of a habitual practice at The Farm Restaurant. As a customer, I believe in transparency and honesty in billing. The combination of the subpar service and the billing discrepancy has left me deeply concerned. I'm sharing this experience to inform potential patrons and to urge the management to address these serious issues promptly.

Restaurant is refusing to issue me a refund on a pre-paid reservation ($480) that I had to cancel for tomorrow night due to someone in my party falling ill today. I canceled the day before and was told that no refunds are given for cancellations within 24 hours. This policy IS NOT stated on Open Table and is completely unreasonable. I understand that it’s New Year’s Eve and certain protections have to be put in place, but it’s not like I canceled same day or just hours before. A partial refund for 24 hours notice should be given at minimum.
