What a lovely meal we had today I had pork followed by Bakewell tart my hubby had lobster mac and cheese followed by black forest cake loved the atmosphere and there was a singer called Tony b entertaining whilst we ate absolutely wonderful affternoon thank you xxx linda and steve xxx

Came here a few weeks ago with friends and family. Really nice little restaurant. I had the lobster mac and cheese which was nice, however, it had truffle in it which wasn’t stated on the menu (I’m not a fan of truffle). Other than that, everything else was nice

Proper chunky Chips! And cheaper then the chip shop!

Had a lovely lunch there, 7 of us, 4 of us had the set meal, two courses and two had the Broil for two. We all had grilled skate, cooked to perfection in a lovely seasoned butter, had the triple cooked chips, nice and chunky, a little overcooked but nice all the same. Sweet potato chips were just right. Starters were soup of the day, in an original looking dish, piping hot Whitebait, Fried calamari and Tempura prawns, all good!! The best dish was the Broil, Scallops, Prawns and mussels, listed for two but enough for three!! Boiled potatoes and corn on the cob to keep appetite at bay, if the seafood isn’t enough. Best thing is the price, very good value & reasonable.

Was recommended by a friend, thought it was hyped up, but thought would give it a go, was amazed by the food, price and the service we were given, will be telling all my friends and family, as will my friend

Found this place on an off chance and booked for my husbands birthday lunch. The food was amazing and fresh, we had the seafood boil for 2 and would recommend, it was gorgeous! Was very welcoming, friendly and comfortable. excellent service and they even brought out a birthday treat with happy birthday written in chocolate for my husband which was a really lovely and thoughtful touch. we will 100% be back and will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you

I’ve eaten everywhere this is top top top tier. Better than smiths better than alec’s must try!!!
