We had a date night here. First of all, our waiter Rony was absolutely amazing. He made sure that we were taken care of the entire night. We did the plant based tasting, which was incredible, to say the least! Our cocktails were incredibly made by the young 23yo bartender in training who did a phenomenal job with each drink! We highly recommend Equinox to everyone, especially the plant-based/vegan community.
We ate at Equinox during the restaurant week. Dissatisfied with the service for the price they charge. We were sat down at a dirty table to begin with. The heart of palm cake with ratatouille was the best dish of the evening. We got our desserts to go only to come home and realize they got our order wrong. It would be hard to change mind into eating here again.
We came here for restaurant week and enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was fantastic. I would recommend the risotto fritters as a starter. My Cobia was cooked perfectly. We had four different desserts at our table and loved all of them but I think the toffee cake (if you like sweeter desserts) and the banana bread pudding were the standouts. Service was exceptional. As soon as we needed something, it arrived, and yet we didn't feel the servers were hovering over us. Wine selection was also great. And despite the restaurant being full, we were never rushed which we appreciated. We were a group of friends that had a lot to catch up on and we stayed nearly 3 hours.
Food and service was excellent. However, I was very disappointed that the reservation I made through OpenTable was not honored. I was there 10 minutes early and was told my table would not be ready for an hour because the restaurant “filled up”. They did accommodate us at the bar, but the bar stool was rickety, and it just wasn’t the dining experience I had planned for. My friend and I did receive a complimentary drink and an apology for this inconvenience which was appreciated. Nonetheless, it is definitely not the same vibe as the original Equinox. I will not return.
Food is tasty especially all vegan options and fish. Service is good. Menu is pricy. Wine is great. Drinks are cute and well prepared. Presentation is wonderful. Location is great. Scenery is nice, when dining both inside and outside of the restaurant. I enjoy myself each time I visit. Good for date night.

Chef Todd Gray came to our table and recommended some excellent dishes. This restaurant has both indulgent, and simply delicious luxury dishes for everyone . Rony took care of our party, and didn't let a single thing go unnoticed. As someone who almost never writes reviews: this is a MUST GO for anyone following an alternative diet, or just anyone with a plain good pallet. Dietary restrictions: Unique and good vegan options.
