It took forever to get a reservation here. I was so excited when I finally got a spot. I took my boyfriend and friend to dinner, but the experience was not good. If you are BIPOC then you can expect terrible service. I had to flag the waiter down, who kept avoiding eye contact, and ask to have my order taken. He claimed they were short staffed, but all other tables that sat down after us were greeted and helped. We waited 30 mins just to get water. The pho is served in a large bowl bigger than the actual portion and the quality isn’t worth the price. You can get better pho and be treated like a human being by going to an actual Vietnamese restaurant in east San Jose. Elyse, you can’t run a business in the heart of downtown and ignore the diversity of your customers. Just because I’m brown doesn’t mean I can’t afford to pay your overpriced and under-seasoned trash you call food. Replace the staff who are straight up racist and elitist or stay closed forever. Shame on you.
Closed for an indefinite period of time
