Eliza is a hidden gem of Baton Rouge and features exquisite modern cuisine for South Louisiana palates. My experiences there having the fish sandwich and fresh the redfish with risotto make me want to come back and try the whole menu. Chef's kiss.
Gluten free plates were devine. The catfish was cooked to perfection. Shrimp and grits so creamy and clean. All the food is sourced and cooked with finesse. Gluten free plates are prepared and cooked in there own fryer and grill so no cross contamination for celiacs like myself. My 6 year old daughter gobbled up her catfish. Couldnt ask for more. Service was personable and so friendly. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free celiacs friendly
Really enjoyed our afternoon meal on the outside deck area. The food was very good.
Really nice find right in baton rouge. We stopped on a road trip and went through here and found a wonderful meal.Great drinks as well. Quality fresh food and many gluten.Free options to look for gluten free.
What a diamond in the rough. Charming, quaint, adorable outdoors patio area, and a crisp, clean, chic interior. I was genuinely surprised by the elevated Louisiana Cuisine presented here. I was impressed with their commitment to support local Louisiana businesses and even shout then out on the menu as their local sources. The waitress was polite and exceedingly knowledgeable about the menu. She also told us about a Mardi Gras themed cocktail available. Though I don't drink, it sounded like something that would be enjoyable to others. She also told us about the soup and dish of the day, both of which sounded phenomenal, but I had already made up my mind. The catfish was actually catfish (which, as you may know some businesses use tilapia or other cheap fish instead). It had one of the best shells I have tried. I had mine with lemon wedges and some stone ground horse radish infused mustard which somehow improved on what I already believed to be perfection. The gumbo only gets 4 stars from me. It was flavorful, and the popcorn rice was a nice addition, but I felt the ratio of rice to gumbo was a bit much and that I didn't really get much chicken or sausage. Parking: Strip mall location with plenty of spots yo park
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu is top shelf! The pimento cheese balls are killer! Excellent food and service! Marshall our server was fantastic! Highly recommended!
The food here is phenomenal, and I really enjoyed their interpretation of certain Louisiana and dishes. They're gumbo was actually quite lovely, even though I didn't see any feeling or okra. The wait staff was incredibly polite and very attentive without being overbearing. There is a gorgeous, massive picture of what appeared to be a blue egret that was absolutely lovely to admire while he waited on our food. My only real complaint is that despite the relatively small number of guests, it felt like our food did come a little slower than we would have liked. Other than that, absolutely phenomenal restaurant. Great place to take someone for a birthday or mother's Day or something like that especially if you want to do something fancy for them. Vegetarian options: They're a vegetarian options here but it's not exactly what I would say is their highlight. Dietary restrictions: Launch the food is seafood, chicken, and duck, so there is plenty of options for kosher and her own style dishes. Parking: There's a lot of open and easily available parking, especially considering that there are two other restaurants in the same strip mall. Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't say this kid is anti-child, but the vibe and menu is definitely for a more adult palette. Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are a little cramp s. I didn't go to the restroom, so I can't verify how the layout is for wheelchair accessibility, but for the most part it looks like it would be reasonably accommodating.
