I called 7 places for tortas de camaron, and El Sarape was the place! Their lent special was impressive to say the least. I had tea, lentil soup- which had the BEST flavor, and the scrumptious tortas de camaron con nopalitos! They tasted just like my grandma's, sniffle, sniffle. Our waitres, Kimberly, was beyond fantastic! She made us feel as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. Quick refills on tea, and always checking to see if we needed anything, great, pleasant demeanor. This restaurant is a must! Blessings.
We always go when we visit El Paso because my father in law likes this place, but they cannot serve an order as requested to save their life. It’s like clockwork that my food will always come out with items I requested removed or not on at all. It honestly just feels they don’t care and just hear the main item and move on. The server even made faces when I was being specific of my order, honestly just no lettuce and no tomatoes but yet yall didn’t put cheese or beans and I got just the bread and meat this is for the last time only but same thing the other times.
Great food at a reasonable price.
Best tacos I've eaten in a lot of years
Honestly, how long do you have to wait to even get a menu here? If you want to eat here, go to the one in the Lower Valley because at least there you'll get served
