El Molcajete Mexican Restaurant

One of the best Mexican food we had.. Food was yum, service was prompt and felt very cozy. We were here for friend’s birthday party & all had fun. Our friends are kinda regular goer to this restaurant. Robot delivery was fun to watch (used for carrying dishes only, waiter serves to the table) and played Happy Birthday song at the end. Kids were taken care of with coloring activity. Pro tip- If you really fond of spicy sauce, try their in house Diablo sauce. I couldn’t bear it but spice lovers enjoyed. Overall a good experience, recommended to visit at least once.

Great service and food is awesome

Update 1/29/24: Gave this place another chance since it's in a convenient location. We hadn't been here in years because we didn't like the food before. However, today was much better. The food was made fresh and was delicious. I had the grilled chicken taco salad and I highly recommend it. The server (Jerry) did a great job. We will start getting Mexican here again, but probably dine in rather than get it to go. We have given this place several tries. The employees are nice, but the food just isn’t good. I’ve never cared for either salsa they serve. The salsa is too runny and doesn’t have much flavor. As a matter of a fact, most of the food I’ve had there has not had much flavor. I’ve had bones in my shredded chicken nachos and then the chicken is rubbery in the chicken fajita nachos. The onions and bell peppers are undercooked. Just isn’t good. And it’s overpriced. We are going to find a new Mexican restaurant. Tired of spending so much money on takeout just to throw most of it away. We haven’t cared for the food when dining in there, either.

We use to eat there once a week, but the food and/or service got worse and worse. Ordered the guacamole, and it was made with rotten avocados. I understand that avocados have not been very good this year, but you shouldn't serve them to customers. Person on phone tried to help, but manager said credit or they would remake it. Since, I'm not returning, neither is an option.

My server was Rosy. So sweet and just overall positive vibe! Super good salsa and tamales. She constantly checked in on me and even helped me box/bag my food. Good food and strong margaritas. 10/10 for this place and my new go-to local favorite. Seriously don’t listen to any negative reviews this place was great. They have a robot delivering food to tables as well- super cool! don’t forget to TIP YOUR SERVER
