small portions, high prices. Price is not that as advertised. Apparently it's more at checkout. This was our go to 7 years ago. Now with new owners. Very different experience.
Great food!! Awesome Lamb shank dish
Our everyday go to lunch. Good serving. Good price
Today was the first time I have tried this place. I was hesitant at first, because I have had bad experiences with Greek food in the downtown PATH. El Greeko at Jane and Finch is easily the best place for a taste of Mediterranean cuisine. Some might prefer stronger presence of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fresh lemon with Oregano and Thyme and fresh garlic. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal exactly the way it was served. Professional yet friendly service. Competitive pricing. And most importantly delicious food!! This place just unknowingly gained a new 268 pound weekly customer who enjoys 2 meals per seating for himself and 1 for his wife who also enjoys El Greeko's wonderful fare. Great job El Greeko!! See you next week!! Vegetarian options: There is no problem getting an excellent vegetarian option or two. Dietary restrictions: The owners are flexible for accommodating dietary restrictions. Great attitude!! Kid-friendliness: Children have options to enjoy with the adults. Wheelchair accessibility: You can access this place by wheelchair easily.
The food was alright but the owner was rude. My meal was given a bit less tzatziki sauce compared to other places I have ordered from, so I asked if I can have more. The owner was reluctant to and called me greedy, when he was the one who was being ungenerous in the first place.
Amazing portion and prices
Can't beat the value and service. In times of high prices this restaurant offers good food at great prices. All cooked infront of you. The owner is also a really nice guy and super friendly with customers.
I always get the lamb shank dinner at the location at Jane and Wilson in Sheridan Mall since it’s consistently very good, so I thought that it would also be good at this location. Boy was I wrong. The lamb shank was warmed up in a microwave and there were parts of it that were grilled to the point of tasting bitter and burnt. The recipe is not the same as the location at Sheridan Mall and it was a huge disappointment. It tasted really bad.
