Caldo espeso de pescado! Wow

We came here on Thursday and everything was so delicious!! It was honestly a 10/10. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly and the waiter was so attentive. The waiter constantly checked on us and asked if we needed anything. We loved it so much, we decided to come back today. However, it was a totally different, despite there being the same amount of people in the restaurant. For the large sampler (which we ordered both times) they used a different type of fish this time, which wasn’t as good. The service was extremely slow, and I’m confused as to why because there were hardly anyone in the restaurant. We had to flag down the waiter multiple times. I ordered the churrasco well done and it was bloody and well in the middle. The manposteao had no onions and peppers in it was was very bland. Instead I ordered two churrasco empanadas and halfway though the first one. I noticed that the meat was frozen and cold. I was automatically turned off and lost my appetite. I’m not sure what happened but it was completely different from the last time; which was just a few days ago. The manager did come back to the table and apologized and ended up taking off the empanadas and the skirt steak. However, After today, I don’t think I will come back, it’s not consistent which is disappointing

Unassuming casual beach front restaurant. Efficient staff. Reasonable wait for food. Local favorite. Empanadilla de chapín was tasty. Grouper creole was delicious. Tostones hot and crunchy. Trifongo yummy. Recommended

The fried fish looked clean and tasted delicious. Recommended!
