First visit to 83, met friends for coffee and a catch up. Pleasant surroundings, great coffee and tasty cake. What more could you ask for? Will definitely be going again

A lovely spot to sit in Westbourne with great service. We just had a quick tea, but the brownies were the stand-out and we'll be back for more they were that good!

The coffee was lukewarm even though we asked for it to be extra hot. We ordered 2 chocolate muffins both of which were stale so we took them back

Visited this cafe today with my parents as it has been a favourite of theirs for some time. Unfortunately we were all left disappointed today. The young girls working were really pleasant but not trained in hygienic practice. We had to ask for a clean glass 4 times, each time the glasses given were greasy and covered in fingerprints. At one point the girl washed it by rubbing water around with her hands and drying it using the same cloth just used to wipe the counter. Ice was scooped by hand from the bags in the freezer into a glass immediately after clearing a dirty table with no hand washing in between. Coffee took a long time to come, but was good coffee and well made, unfortunately in a dirty cup and saucer and was cold by the time cake arrived. 2 of the cakes were nice, 2 were under baked, stodgy and tasted of flour. The owner made no apology other than the staff were new, but she is doing them a disservice as well as her business by not providing them with training, particularly in terms of hygiene. The cafe itself was dirty with thick dirt on floor and stairs in particular. We asked the girls to take the 2 inedible cakes off the bill as they weren’t eaten. I felt for the staff as they were clearly floundering and deserve to be given full training and guidance rather than left to man the cafe on their own and then blamed for their lack of training from management. We did however find a lovely coffee and cake around the corner.

I enjoyed my visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Any requests for variations can be accommodated . The raspberry cake was great!

Get a brownie, maybe one in each flavour - you will not regret it!!!!!!

This used to be cocteau a buzzing beautiful teahouse with a wonderful menu and large variety of cakes and coffees. Sadly cafe didnt match up I was disappointed.
