Ego is a place where you can unwind, relax and have a good time. Got dietary requirements, no bother with a gluten free menu there's no worries. They take service seriously and the food is fantastic. Been a few times now and never had a bad meal. Always left with full stomachs and a lovely evening. Well worth it if you are in the area

The food and service was OK. The main issue is with the pricing and that ego is intentionally mixing prices. I ordered a salad that looking at the menu was £9, which is fine, that's pretty standard for a salad. However when I got the bill it was £17. Ego said that the pricing for a Sunday increases. You need to have separate menus for this or your staff need to be explicit when serving that it is the Sunday menu, be aware of price differences!! It's intentionally confusing and when you're told after the fact that "o no, you've read the other side of the menu" it's extremely annoying and just puts a massive downer on the meal. Charging £17 for a salad is absolutely bonkers as well. How can you justify such a dramatic increase? The foods fine, just don't go on a Sunday.

Very dissapointed with my calamari starter They were the thinnest the tiniest calamari with soggy batter such a bad show and should not be on the menu I told the waitress and all she said was I will inform the kitchen and that was it !!!! Other food I had was nice enough but I was so dissapointed Will not rush back

Had to get my food as a take out, forgotten food from the order, portion sizes was so small, could of been a starter, not a main meal. The menu didn't fill me with joy and after experiencing it I will not be going back. For the cost of the food I would expect better quality.

Lunchtime is great here - lovely food, friendly staff. Parking: You can park in the carpark behind Aldi, but remember to put your registration in their touchscreen pad.
