We were there for an early dinner on a Saturday and managed to get a table without booking. Service was friendly. I liked my spaghetti with Burrata. The carbonara sauce was strange though, was yellow and didn’t taste good. It was left unfinished. The bread wasn’t that great. Sprite was delicious. They charge you for the service, see my bill. So be careful about paying in addition!

Ate in the restaurant - I felt £32 for one bowl of pasta and one drink was ridiculous. However the shop is absolutely superb.

Sorry not impressed !The lady at the entrance told us we could have a table for 1/2 hour ,when I asked why she said “ they get busy” not acceptable !Table to close to each other ,tagliatelle bolognese was nothing special and very little for £18 ,pizza was ok but too much stuff on it and little burnt ,too thin in the middle ,food definitely better on the ground floor ,all together overrated (not mentioning the shop that s like a jewellery shop)

To be honest the waitstaff is unable to triage parties appropriately. Had to wait 60 minutes and they were unable to give a party of 4 seats. Poor service, poor staff understanding we waited patiently no issues, but they were giving either larger parties tables or smaller parties. Disappointed because the food was good but the 60 minute wait when we were told 35 or so minutes was really disappointing.

Nice place full of Italian food and also many stores to buy Italian retail. Loved the selection of chocolates. You would find many food outlets with seating available. The restaurant upstairs is very popular and often see a long line to get in even during week days. Enjoy..

Staff had a miserable attitude. Not the warmest welcome into the restaurant. Quite pricey for the quality of food.

Disappointing experience in Terra. Waited half an hour for one bruschetta. Over 1hour for a plate of pasta, which arrived cold and served together with a main dish. When challenged the waitress (blond lady with glasses), and told her: sorry we were supposed to get the pasta first and main after? She replied: you didn't tell us. I said: I expected being an italian place, to be served pasta first. She then replied: this is not Italy, this is England, you have to tell us if you want pasta first. No apologies whatsoever for the 1hour wait on food, racist comment and nonchalant behaviour from all staff. Mentioned during booking it was a special occasion, so very disappointing. Food was good, but we were let down by staff behaviour. On top of that we booked in Terra specifically to try the meat, only to arrive there and being told "the grill is broken"... we understand issues can happen, but a place that mainly serves grilled meat not to have another option to cook their meat it was disappointing.

I expect having high quality Italian proud wines at Eataly specially as an Italian gastronomy institution in the UK. By examining the wine list at their restaurant the price range starts highly at £35. We expected that bottle to be a good quality Italian wine. It wasn’t at all . It was a screw top not corked , didn’t have the DOC label, a must in choosing Italian wine and as I checked online I found out it is a €4,70 price tagged wine at Eataly in Italy, what I consider a cooking wine. Photos attached below. While it is served in the UK for a salty £35 at their restaurant. It’s about the principle of knowing you are being served quality . In this case totally disappointing. After being ripped off on the wine I wonder about the quality standards of everything else served in their restaurant. Very disappointing.
