Update: East Tea Can dealt with the situation and offered compensation to my friend...Thank you team for listening and taking action, you did the right thing! This helps customers confidence in your services great job! I had the worst experience at East Tea Can at my friend's birthday, where I was invited on Jan 14, 2024. My friend made the birthday reservation online. After our food was served when another friend brought the birthday cake we were shocked to find out that cake cutting had a price $3 per person plus tax. Couple of opportunities here for the restaurant, if there is such a rule, publish it online as when a group of friends or a family is already on premises, there aren't many options left other than to pay the ridiculous fee. It's too late to make other plans or change venue for cake cutting only. Secondly we could have ordered cake from the restaurant and paid the fee if the option was available??? The solution offered by the restaurant was Kanafa, which was an absurd suggestion by the manager. The entire thing left us in such an embarrassing situation.

Went there for dinner with a friend. We ordered an appetizer and two mains. The Hummus was probably played hours before they served it and had some hard brown chunks. The Kebab was cold and blend. For 100$ bill for two you’d expect more.

Food was good but way overpriced

The food was regular, but 1000% not worth 80 dollars for a buffet. They are over charging for regular food you could get for 20-30 MAX. I would not recommend this place to anyone after paying that ridiculous bill for the food. If you do not want to damage your wallet, i would recommend going to any other middle eastern cuisines because unfortunately i felt ripped off for what i paid for. Its a shame they are taking advantage of the people like this. Very very very crowded!!

Never come back again we got there we sit down waited for waiter to get our order no body showed up people after us came they got served thier plates were dirty also glass

The appetizers and main dishes are filling. The service is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food I find is very rich. I took food home for another day.

I am very disappointed from their service for takeout orders. I am working woman and thought to buy food because not feeling well and my kid asked me to buy food from East Can. We made an order over the phone, but when i reached to pick the food they were busy in their Buffet setting for iftar and i waited almost an hour for just Lahm B ajeen Shish Tauooq bown and Kunafa. When we brought our food at home and it was almost time to open our fast. They did not serve any vegetables with Lahm B . Ajeen and Shiah Tawooq bowl was 75% fill with spring mix and beet Hummas and we find hardly any rice and chicken. Same thing happened 2 months back when we ordered take out Lahm B Ajeen and it was totally burnt and Kunafa was burnt too and we were very tired to take that food back. Their chef or cook do not realized that people are paying for their food to enjoy with their family at home but we wasted our money. I finally decided not to recommend them and boycott their restaurant.

Update: It’s not what it used to be. I used to come here regularly. The service today (Mar 2024) was horrible starting from when I tried to make reservations. At the restaurant they forgot to punch in two meals to the kitchen and the food came out very late for those individuals. Communication throughout was poor. We had to constantly ask/check to ensure everything was understood. I’ve had many of their grills, the Iraqi kabob was not as good. Previous Review: The ambience of the restaurant was very beautiful. The presentation of the food was also nice and tasted really good. I will definitely be coming back
