Always enjoy Earles great staff and food ...... thank you
Did not have the best service on Feb 13- after we were seated it took 15 minutes until the server came and took our drink orders. He came to our table 3 times and we were there almost 2 hours. Never got asked for drink refills, dessert, boxes or the bill because he disappeared after we got our food. Other customers were visibly frustrated at the lack of service as well. The sangria is really good here but a shame that its only half a wine glass (that’s including all the ice) so not worth the $13. When the server ID’d us for drinks he told us its only cause the manager was there and the other Earls recently got fined which I felt was kind of unprofessional. Most of the time the food tastes great here but sometimes it lacks presentation.
Attended with a few friends for dinner. Food was really good, for the most part (dessert was lacking). Pretty dark inside and was funny seeing people needing to use their cell phone flashlights to read the menu. Derek was our server and he was fantastic. Knowledgeable about the menu. Made good conversation at the table. Very attentive and was able to remedy our issues really quickly. If you check out this location, ask to sit in Derek's section.
My girlfriend and I just returned from an above and beyond dinner experience. At Earls of all places! It is late Sunday night so the restaurant was not too busy. The food was fantastic and the staff were incredibly professional and obviously proud in their work. I am an enjoyer of spicy chicken wings. I asked our waiter if the hot wings were "just Franks" or if there was something hotter. He said he would ask in the kitchen. Next thing I knew Chef Grayson came to our table to check exactly how hot I was comfortable with (if you like spicy wings you know you're in for something special if the Chef comes to your table). He explained some of the hot peppers the kitchen had available and I told him that it would be quite the challenge to make a wing too spicy. The chicken wings the Chef prepared were NEXT LEVEL GOOD. The heat was definitely extra medium, but I do not think a "normal person" would have been put off by the heat. What really made them stand out was the flavour Chef Grayson was able to bring to the wings. Chef Grayson's wings belong on the Earls menu. I believe he called them "Death Wings". If you're ever at Earls Grandview Corners (sadly not every Earls has a Chef Grayson) I highly recommend you order them. Tell them Sean sent you.
Love the food, have never had a bad meal. Great friendly service!
Our brunch at Earl's S. Surrey was fantastic! They warmly welcomed us, the food was delicious, and we even got complimentary desserts. Thanks for a memorable experience!
My wife and I went to Earl's this evening (February 07) to celebrate her passing a series of tests and interviews. Earls is our go-to restaurant for celebrations - especially since we first met at another location. The food was as great as expected - Ribs + Chicken, Pasta, Sushi Tacos, and Sprite. The atmosphere was nice. We liked the contemporary music (Top 40 R&B with some retro Notorious Big types stuff) and decor. The crowd looked tame - not the wannabees and jerks you see elsewhere. The service staff, from the greeter to the waitress, were full of smiles and nice to talk to. Our server, Ashley, was a gem. She was nice to talk to, made great suggestions, and checked up on us as much as I thought was appropriate. When she found out about my wife's successes she was genuinely happy - it was clear, she was genuinely happy for a stranger's success. Definitely coming back and will definately ask to be sat where Ashley is working. She was the main motivation to write this post. K + M
