Earls Kitchen + Bar

Food wasn’t horrible. Salmon was over peppered. Brought up to the manager and did nothing about it, other than say sorry. We got a bottle of wine that we wanted to take home. Our server went to put a lid on it for us once we were finished. As we were waiting we noticed a bug in the wine. Brought it to server attention who went to her manager. Management was poor. We already paid. So they couldn’t take it off the bill. Manager just told us that they will dump out the old one and get us the same amount we had left. I don’t understand why they couldn’t give us a new bottle. How do we know for sure that they didn’t just take the bug out and give us the same bottle. Manager seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. All she told us that she will get the higher ups to get on bug control. Definitely could have been handled better.!!! We understand the bug wasn’t fully their fault but come on.

This is the second time I have visited this location as I don’t live in the city and we stay close to the restaurant. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The first time I visited this location it was awesome. This time however it was terrible. We had two servers that night back and forth and the one server when I asked her what the difference between the earls martini and a regular one went to the bartender and came back and said “he’s not sure but the earls one has extra sh!* in it” I have no idea what that means but not a way to speak to someone. I then ordered the truffle chicken with risotto and my chicken was under cooked. I thought maybe it would be ok but the risotto was crunchy… I am no expert but I don’t think it’s supposed to be that way. Neither waitress came by again (although walking by several times and noticing my plate and I hadn’t eaten my meal). The only thing she said was do you want dessert. I paid $30 to not eat because the waitresses couldn’t be bothered to come by. Extremely disappointed in the experience here recently.

The food was tasty and atmosphere was great aside from the cold air that kept streaming in from somewhere. The server was good but not very attentive. Vegetarian options: Not much selection for vegetarian options.

Rae was our server and she was very friendly! The service and food were both amazing and we had a great experience! Can’t wait to come again!

Out of all the Earls locations in Edmonton, this one is my favorite. You can’t go wrong with the happy hour menu after 9:00 PM on a Friday night. The Mushroom/Kale Or Margarita pizza are great choices. I Also Love that you can pay your bill from your table and there’s plenty of parking at this location because the bank next door closes early evening.

i was in on Saturday night and my server madison was exceptional! she always went above and beyond to ensure my friends and I were having a good experience, she was super personable and overall a lovely server, i will definitely be back!
