You better hope you never need a refund because it is a nightmare! I ordered a dozen donuts and a coffee on the app. I got there to pick up and was told they did not have any of the donuts I ordered. They only had vanilla long johns and vanilla sprinkles. I told them to just give me those then. Then I was told they didn't even have enough donuts to fulfil a dozen. I told them to just give me a refund then. They said they were unable to give me a refund in the store and said I had to call customer service for a refund. So I called customer service when I got home and they were closed. The message said to either call back during business hours or send an email. So I sent an email with the gist of the situation and a photo of my receipt and asked them to process the refund. The auto email I got back said I would receive a reply within 48 business hours. I sent the email Friday evening and didn't hear back until yesterday afternoon. They asked AGAIN for a summary of the experience, the date and amount of the transaction, and any applicable screen shots, all of which were provided in the first email. I have had to do an awful lot of work to get my own money back for something that was completely out of my control. At this point they can just keep the $13.49 because it's not worth my time anymore. Get it together, Dunkin! It's 2024.
