Dumpling Time

Great food. The staff Cedric,Alfred were very warm and friendly.

Ordered pork gyoza, lobster shumai, steamed pork buns, and garlic string beans. Yummy!!

The food here is mediocre at best. I got the jellyfish salad, but it was lacking in sauce and in salt. I'm surprised that considering it's from the ocean, it would've been salty. For the dumpling, it was good. It was lacking something again. The drinks are way too strong, and I feel like it wasn't worth it. The service is amazing, tho. They have been extremely helpful and attentive.

Ordered the DT wings ($16, 6 wings) and gyoza ($11, 5 pieces). Food is mediocre and not filling. In my opinion, other dumpling places are better.

If you have been to Dumpling Time in SF at the Warriors Thrive City please avoid this place please! The service is really bad and they are understaffed. Cooks in the kitchen with no hair nets and cooking while using a cell phone! There was a person of color in our party so of course they sat us at the back by the kitchen door. This place was not clean ( nats & flys ) and it seemed like the whole staff had some else to be instead of at work lol. This point of view is from a regular at Santa Row, we should have gone to Sauce or the counter or Straights my flaut. The 1st dish we had a hair in it and we had to point it out not to charge us for that. Note to the manager trying to treat everyone the same instead of picking and choosing what customers to give good service to. Also I will be posting this review on multiple social media sites. What a shame for Santa Row to have a place like this!

extremely fast service, great food

Food average, and service subpar due to understaffed. Not much service when only 1 waiter managing 9 tables. The busperson doesn’t take orders and didn’t tell the waiter that our table would like to order more food. Ordered: - BBQ pork bao - steamed and pan seared, one of the best dishes we ordered; - pork XLB and TomYum XLB - not much flavor, trending toward sweet than savory, had better ones somewhere else; - shrimp toast - didn’t see any shrimp paste or shrimp, only see the Chinese fried bread with spicy mayo; - lamb dumplings - has a strong lamb gaming taste; - cucumber salad - crispy and spicy, maybe one of the best dishes we ordered; and - southeast fried rice noodles - OK but nothing extraordinary about it. The ambience tries to trendy with a bar serving alcohol and few TV screens having sports and music program on.

I’m so glad they were opened last Christmas. I’m very grateful for the customer service we got and for all the employees working on Christmas Day. I know it’s Christmas but I really appreciate that there’s one or two restaurants that were open in Santa Row during the holiday. As it was so hard to find an open restaurant. The food was great, the Asian noodle is similar to a Filipino food called pansit but the chicken is crispy and has other vegetable ingredients. The spring rolls were delicious. We also ordered some chicken but forgot to take picture. However, the food and service were excellent to me. So 5 stars overall. Thanks again for your service during the holiday.
