Duke’s Seafood Bellevue

We love it and highly recommended!

Select your reservation time at least ONE HOUR before the time you want to start eating. We made reservation for 7PM on a weekday, arrived there at 6:50PM, and literally stood outside until 7:20PM to be seated. Does reservation mean nothing to you? Waited another 30min to get food after ordering them. So food was served at 8PM for a 7PM reservation. My 3yo kid was starving. Food was not too bad, though Red Lobster is better and bigger portion.

Moses gave us a wonderful experience. He was respectful, warm, & attentive. Also we had the opportunity to be partially served by someone who looks like Jenna Ortega so that was hot. The blood orange cocktail was nothing short of perfection, our appetizers were fantastic & our main dishes were literally perfect. Will 100% be back.

Lovely atmosphere. Fast service. My partner had crab cake and i can tell you this it was the most delicious sandwich I ever had. Loco shrimp was average. Its same as what you get from costco and air fry it. I didn’t exactly love my blackened salmon salad mostly because I asked for dressing on the side and it was mixed. I also like my salmon less cooked. Great portion!

I enjoy Dukes overall. The clam chowder is excellent. But one dish has me stumped entirely: the rockfish tacos. What could be an awesome dish feels like an afterthought. First, they’re tossed together with slaw that’s too sweet and very runny, leaving the plate with a small pond while you’re eating then. Second, the fish is also too sweet - so there’s no balance of flavor. When I opened the tacos the chunks of fish looked like the bad pieces they didn’t want to serve elsewhere, so they hid them in the fish tacos. And, the tortillas are HUGE, which at first glance you think maybe the $30 price tag for two tacos could be worth it… until you bite into them. (But, huge fish tacos seem strange to me; not great for picking up w hands.) Sadly, the fish tacos are just poorly executed in every way possible. And then they’re paired w bagged, stale chips - Duke’s, what are you doing here- you’re so much better than this! IMO, I would stick w other dishes, and ignore the rockfish tacos.

What an outstanding seafood restaurant! Our server was top-notch, oysters, and halibut were delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

I was looking forward to some fresh salmon but I ordered the Hannah’s Frenchy Salmon but it came out floating in the cream sauce. Even the entire salmon was coated. Seriously why!
