First time visiting Dreamette. Staff was close to closing but treated us all so well. We didn’t feel rushed out. They helped us with recommendations off the menu. I absolutely loved the whole vibe here. I love love love Dole Whip and this was absolutely delicious!! The soft serve was perfect. Store was very clean and with a cute sitting area. Wheelchair accessible with is also a plus in my book. When I am back in this area I will be stopping in your try something new off the amazing menu! I highly recommend!! Amazing sweet managers with amazing ice cream

I ordered a large vanilla and pineapple swirl and when it was gone I was sad so I walked right back up to the counter and ordered another.

The owner is great and the ice cream is amazing

I gave it a one this time around, because the girl that was there today 3/15/24 didn’t have any idea on what she was doing. She messed up the lady that was in front of me her other and didn’t even try to fix it or apologize. Then she took the young boys order only to tell them that she forgot the shake machine wasn’t working, he was so disappointed. Am not sure if he ordered something else, I should’ve checked my order after she mess up those other two orders. As for my simple order it was vanilla ice cream with fudge topping, well I would have came out better going to McDonald’s for their hot fudge sundae. The ice cream was grainy it was like she just put a little squeeze of hot fudge in the middle of the vanilla ice cream, after the first two dips of the fudge I was eating a vanilla ice cream cup. She didn’t even knew how to print the receipt I didn’t get my points or receipt, well none of us got our receipt that day. The young boy he got his points. Unlike the last time when I went their on Wednesday 3/13/24 every thing was on point and delicious got my points/ receipts/ and the right amount of fudge and my ice cream was so creamy, this is why I drove all the way their again just to enjoy another cup of ice cream only to be so let down and disappointed. Well I guess I have to find another ice cream store.

Great ice cream and super friendly staff. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this family business, and she was great. Highly recommend you stop here and get a treat. They even had a vegan option, which made my day!

Love this place! It's always clean, staff is great, and the butterfinger shakes are the best, just left there.

Let me start off by saying I hardly leave reviews! My last review was probably in 2018 but today the service I received was terrible and needs to be said! I had all my wisdom teeth removed on Tuesday March 12 so on Wednesday March 13, I went to this place with my mom and it was amazing! Ice cream was smooth (taste almost homemade), creamy, the toppings were fresh and everything was mixed in perfectly (I thought the lady forgot to add the topping, until I folded it back and saw them). I didn’t get the lady and her daughter name but they were great! They get 5 stars on EVERYTHING! Now let’s talk about today Friday, March 15… I originally arrived at 12:30pm and the place was closed. Online it states they open at 11:00am but the door say 1:30pm. I should have know then what type of experience it was going to be but I went and ran an errand and came back. My mother and I placed our order and when I asked the young lady how do I add my points she told me she didn’t know that it should have asked me. No problem I asked where my receipt was which I asked it to print and she said she didn’t know how to get a receipt. I said it was okay! She gave me my medium cup ice cream that was filled with my two topping and only had ice cream on the top that barely covered the toppings. My mother told her that wasn’t how it was made the last time and she said the only thing she could do was put it in the blender! If I wanted a smoothing I would have order one! The ice cream was gritty as if it wasn’t mixed properly, it was not creamy, smooth, or rich in flavor and the fruity pebbles are stale! My mothers ice cream barely had any fudge in it. All in all I wasted my money and to think I left a 15% tip to be treated like I am the problem. I should have just went to McDonald’s and saved gas and money because McDonald's would have gave my mother more fudge and at least it would have been smooth. She was not helpful and it seemed like she was annoyed that we even asked anything! The only reason why I didn’t make a fuss is because she looked like she was a young teenager who was on spring break. Where the adult was I couldn’t tell you but when I tell you I will NEVER patronize this buisness again NEVER AGAIN! Save your money and your time and go somewhere else. If I knew the lady’s name that helped us on Wednesday I would say call before you go to make sure she is there but other than that WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY and we not doing this in 2024. Oh and the young gentleman behind us ordered a slushy (I could be wrong) but told him after she took his payment nor checking the machine that she just remembered that machine wasn’t working and he needed to get is order another way! If the machine wasn’t working when you came in why would you accept his order that way? Because she didn’t go over to another machine after she handed my mother her order! He looked very annoyed to say the less!

OMG!!! This place is so cute!!! The remodel is looking fantastic with the new seating, sign, and menu. The owners told us that they have some other renovations that they still have left to do. The service is phenomenal, the young ladies working and the owners were all smiles and very helpful. The ice cream is also very tasty. They offer the extra small size which is perfect for my toddlers. Hubby got a strawberry milkshake and my daughter and I both ordered a Carmel sundae with a cherry on top. Today when we came if you told them a "dad joke" you received 10% off your order.

I live in Atlanta Georgia and every time I come to Jacksonville I stop by Dreamette Aberdeen. They have the nicest staff and I love the toasted coconut dip cone.
