Jose was our lovely servicer. The food was up there for a foodie. The family share is a good idea. The people I ate with loved their scallops. The 20 oz was more than worth it. So were all the other steak options. If you don't like vinegar, the broccoli isn't for you. Do suggest getting a spot by the window facing the capital. Beautiful view and good lighting if you go at the correct time.

The food had good flavor, but the portions are very small. They had no chicken available last night and the chop salad was 1/4 plate of lettuce. 12 oz Draper steak was very tasting, but was roughly 8 oz of bone and 4 oz of meat. Service was good, atmosphere was very nice and quiet. For their prices, there’s better options in downtown Madison.

We've dined at all the top-rated steakhouses in downtown Madison, also at the trendy, popular restaurants. Draper Brothers is the BEST! Excellent food. Excellent drinks. Better than excellent staff. We've become regulars here. Last night we both had filet mignon, Yukon mashed potatoes (loved the bowl), chopped salad, and lemon tart dessert. All were great. You can't go wrong here, no matter if you're in the mood for steak, pasta, or a sandwich. Some people complain about price. The prices here are in line with other steakhouses and fine dining in Madison. This is a great restaurant with character. Love the classic old building! You won't be disappointed dining at Draper Brothers.

The dry aged steak was absolutely worth every penny. The steak flavor profile consisted of a rich nutty, buttery and aged cheese taste. None of the flavors over powered the other and the cheese taste reminded me of an aged Italian cheese. Mix in that flavor profile with the char broil… oh Mama Mia!! The shrimp cocktail was a bit undercooked but I came here for the steak and it didn’t disappoint! Service was on point and atmosphere was great.

We didn't like the food and it was expensive. Ravioli was not good at all. Bolognese was not good either. Mashed potatoes were gummy. Salad and drinks were good. Was a beautiful building and waitstaff were nice, but wouldn't eat the food again unfortunately.

A must go chop house in the old blue Marlin, secret dish that topped a that was ordered is the mouth watering decetant Berkshire Pork chop! Also their take on a chopped was creative and tasty.

Hands down, the bone in filet mignon was the best steak I've ever had in my life... same with the tartare! Truly phenomenal food. My friend and I sat up at the bar and enjoyed attentive service. I'm a historic architecture freak, so I adored the atmosphere and paying homage to the original Draper Brothers. Cannot wait to eat here again!
