Dough Zone Dumpling House Issaquah

We were treated for lunch by some friends. The food is okay. The portions are on the small side, however, the prices are lower as a result. The bubble tea isn’t very good here. At least compared to the ones we’ve tried elsewhere. The bubbles are mushy. My wife says it’s because it’s a different style. I didn’t like it.

Always very good, small portions that add up quickly in price. The presentation of dumplings is good.

Walked in at noon on a Wednesday, were seated promptly, and fed very well. Yes, it's in a strip mall, but there are plenty of booths and some tables, and massive masks on the wall, which we particularly liked. More important: friendly, attentive staff and delicious food. My companion and I tried pan-fried buns, wontons in spicy sauce, lightly pickled cucumbers, beef roll (szechuan spices, nice!), and pan-fried leek dumplings (superb).

We usually have an outstanding experience here, but not tonight. Service was subpar. They didn’t bring us everything we ordered, brought food we didn’t order and the soup dumplings were raw. Pork was pink and gummy texture. It’s usually whitish grey. We said something, we were told they’d bring another order but if it is the same, there’s nothing they can do about it. Second order was raw too

Nope... they are still not serving 'Shredded Ginger'. -Updated Jan 15th 2024- For folks following... they are still not serving 'Shredded Ginger' even upon request. -Updated Sep 11th 2023- Dropping to 1 star. Visited again today and they are still serving 'Minced Ginger'. I requested for 'Shredded Ginger' to no avail again. Extremely disappointed... Dough Zone -Updated Aug 18th 2023- We've been supporting this business for years! Today, I had to drop the food rating to 2 stars. I was shocked to discover they had changed the traditional 'Shredded Ginger' condiments to 'Minced Ginger'! I enquired with the staff and was told the change was a 'Headquarter' decision. For folks (like myself) who are food lovers of authentic cuisines, there are traditional foods that can only be authentic when prepared the true traditional way. There are just no other way around authenticity and its taste. There are no other Chinese restaurants (be it in the Eastern or Western world) that I know of that actually serve 'Minced Ginger in Vinegar' as condiments to complement Chinese Dumplings! The taste is totally wrong! If unrectified, I may simply go back to Ding Tai Fung or any other Chinese Dim Sum restaurants for authentic style cuisine. Shredded Ginger has been used in Chinese cuisine for centuries. Hainanese chicken rice is the only chinese dish I can think of that uses minced ginger to complement its chili condiments. ----- -Updated Dec 1st 2018- One of our favorite restaurants for steam dumplings! This branch is often busy, but we always get seats before 5pm. If you're here during peak hour, expect slower service (20-30mins wait time for food). The food portion is very small, but the price is proportionately lower too.

我和朋友点了牛肉面和牛肉馅饼，馅饼一直没有上。我朋友面条吃完了，我们玩了一会儿手机，馅饼依然没上。我看了时间，我们等了有30分钟。我告诉服务人员馅饼太慢了，没做就算了，她解释是因为馅饼需要烙，很慢，她要去厨房问一下。开玩笑呢吗？！馅饼现包现烙，也不至于30分钟不熟吧？最后服务人员从厨房出来，依然没有端出馅饼来。就是把面条的账单往我们桌子上一扔。一大早来吃饭，等半天饿着肚子离开，一句抱歉都没有！让人很恼火！

Used to be my go to place. Dined there one lunch and noticed many flies flying around. I reported the issue to their HQ and got an unsincere answer. Won’t be going back due to hygiene issue

Food is so good. Not as good as other DZ locations but still very tasty

Our go-to place for some quick delicious chinese food. The dan dan noodles are a must try. Also a must try is pork and shrimp potstickers. We also tried the green onion noodles which were okayish. The pork wontons in hot and sour sauce are good as well. The USP of this place is that the vegan dishes are equally delicious, which is a rare thing at chinese restaurants. The service is quick. Ambience is nothing exceptional. The best thing about Dough zone is you get good food at an affordable prices.

We ordered about 5-6 items and they were all super delicious. Our favorite item was: Pork Xiao Long Bao; we ended up getting 2! The food came quick and the ending bill wasn’t bad at all; especially since we felt like we ordered a good amount for a family of 4.

Waited 30-40 min for soup dumplings. Suspect they accidentally gave them to another table. Food was fine but the wait was just too long.
