Double B's MKE-Style BBQ

This is a pretty good barbecue place in the Milwaukee-land area. We had a party of 3 on a Saturday night, 35 minute wait. No biggie at all, I work in service myself, and I understand how the industry works. When we were seated, we promptly ordered our drinks and the bacon-wrapped meatballs, which came pretty quick. Bacon was perfectly cooked and you could definitely tell they were homemade. We then ordered our meals, which also came out in a timely manner. We all ordered different meats and sides so that we could try a little bit of everything, and most of it was pretty good. The best meat we had was the sliced brisket and the best side was probably the coleslaw, which came with the meal. It had this sweet sauce and was different than most coleslaws, seemed to have real and fresh vegetables in it. The server brought many different types of barbecue sauces, so you could mix/choose the one you liked best. Overall, the meats were good, but the sides we had were nothing to rave about. Plus, the atmosphere was more of a sushi/japanese restaurant and unlike a barbecue joint. The service was great. Our waiter was super kind and all of our food came out quick. 4/5 stars for the decent food and amazing service, but one star docked for the atmosphere and mediocre sides.

I cannot express how great this place is. The food was immaculate the staff was amazing. I called last minute for 11 people and just to see if we could make it and they made it happen! Everyone was so kind and understanding. One of the best places for food I've been to in awhile. Definitely recommend!!

Ribs, Mac n cheese, burnt ends and corn bread were absolutely delicious. Chicken was a bit dry but very good. Would definitely come back for more ribs

Excellent brisket! Best around in my opinion. Been here a few times now and every time has been wonderful service and outstanding food.

The coleslaw, cornbread, chicken were definitely the best.
