Dos Banderas

Fantastic everytime i come here

We were fortunate enough to get a $10 voucher from the city during a Karaoke event at the main square. We went to Dos Banderas and all of the food was great, but it would be nice to have at least one plant based option in the appetizer section as the voucher was only for the openers section supposedly. My husband and I eat only plants and there were no plant options. We asked if we could get guacamole instead and pay any difference and the waitress said no. Should have spoken to the owner....which we did (but not about that), but we ate the wings on the menu anyway. The next day we had acid reflux from the wings...that is the whole reason we eat only plants because eating animal products is not pleasant for our bodies or our health. I think the city paid for the $10 voucher anyway, so it would not have been a loss from Dos Banderas. Food: We had the guacamole, beans, and the cilantro lime wings. That was very filling and tasty that night. Service: Waitress was friendly and patient while we were looking at the menu. Atmosphere: Beautifully remodeled. If there was any music while eating it was low so as to enjoy talking to people you are eating with. Recommendation for owner: Please see if you can add a vegan option on the openers section without animal products at all...cheese or meat or at least if a customer asks if they can substitute something and it is available on the menu, please help your customer out through your waiters. Our meal at Dos Banderas would have been much more pleasant and memorable the next day (acid reflux is painful).

Been going for years, but wasn't all that impressed with this last visit. The tortilla chips were either not cooked all the way or super greasy. Some were very chewy, and could be bent completely without breaking. Enchiladas came out warm. Not cold, but like they had been cooked and left to sit for a few minutes before being brought out, even though the service was very spot on. Wait time from order to receiving food was at most 7-8 minutes maybe. Server was polite, but forget her name.

This place has improved over the last year. It appears to have new owners?? Anyway, it has improved in every way. I am glad was able to experience it.

I love the Taco Tuesday Music nights!! We will definitely be back to see who plays next! I’m a fan of the brisket quesadillas!! The margaritas are a must and the homemade pralines are to die for!

You are missing out if you’ve never been here .. Dos Banderas has AWESOME food, great service and atmosphere!!! Taco Tuesdays and great music!!! Fajitas and Bloody Mary!!
