Almonte Tobacconist is a purveyor of premium tobacco products located in the heart of Downtown Red Bank, New Jersey. Proprietor, Antonio Almonte, has more than 30 years working in the cigar industry as both a cigar roller and retailer. He began rolling cigars as a young boy, learning from his father then going on to work as a cigar roller at his brother’s cigar factory, Tabacalera DBL, in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Antonio Almonte is a third-generation disciple of the cigar industry with 68 members of his family working in the cigar business, including his brother, Francisco Almonte, who is the renowned owner of DBL Cigars.
