Dockers Restaurant, Fox Lake

We stopped in for lunch, waited 5 minutes for someone to seat us - no actual wait, not busy - just no service. We were finally seated inside, where it was incredibly warm and muggy, and no one ever came to our table. No water, no nothing. Servers were just walking by us, ignoring us. After 15 minutes we finally just left. Worst service EVER.

They always advertise a Sunday brunch. We went up today to try it, and they were closed, with a note on the door saying "no brunch until Easter". Would have been nice to see that on their website before we got up there.

Good little spot right on the water. I bet in the summertime it would be amazing to eat outside on the patio. Unfortunately it was February when we went. Food was good and came out quick. No complaints about the service either.

Had lunch there on a Thursday. Had wanted to go on Friday for the fish fry, but plans didn't work out for Friday. So as an alternative, I ordered the fish and chips. It was excellent and the portions were generous enough to bring home half for another dinner.

We went there for lunch and the shrimp de Jonghe was very soupy and the bread crumbs were soggy

AUC Fish fry is fantastic!! We had Mother's day brunch there. It was wonderful. Looking forward to going again this year. Huge outdoor deck. Beautiful lakeside location. Docks for boaters as well. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is located on the street side.
