Honestly the pizza sucks. It just tastes really bad. Probably the worst pizza in DC.
Not super impressive pizza, but what do you expect? It's cheap food open until 3 AM for a decent price. The service is good, and the servings are large.
Pretty bad, but it’s open late.
If you choose to order from this place, I suggest that you order online to pickup through Ubereats or another service with set pricing because this place is dishonest with their pricing when you order in person. Personally, I say do not order from here at all or go to Manny and Olgas just down the road.
I called around 1130pm for and order of 5 chicken tenders and fries. The person receiving the order quoted that my total would be $8.99. I gathered my cash and walked over. When I arrived in person, I checked the menu to be sure of the price and it quoted $8.99 matching what he said. All of a sudden, I get ready to pay, and the guy quotes $16+. I ask him why had the price increased all of a sudden, different from the menu and different from what he quoted me when I ordered on the phone. His only explanation was "new price". So I guess it had changed in 10 mins to almost double, huh? And let's pretend that it did -- false advertisement through your menus?
This place has zero ethics and moral when it comes to their custumer and business practices. Trying to be greedy cost them a customer who would have frequented them several times a week. But now, they ended up losing money. I guess they don't care because they will just double charge the next person.
BTW, uber eats actually lists it for $6.99, so order online and do pickup so they can't deceive you and save money/get more for your money. But I wouldn't even trust them to make my food at this point. They show that they do not care. Do you really want that making your food?
Also -- smelled like straight sewage when I entered the place and not a hint of food.
Good luck.
Restaurant is closed permanently, they accepted a pickup order and charged me. When I arrived at 9pm Friday it was closed. No one picked up the phone to me.
I LOVE this place. The gyro is probably the best in the city, but be warned… it can get pretty busy in there! The employees are polite and efficient, so your food will come out quickly sometimes not so quick. And it's all worth it, because the food is simply delicious.
If you're looking for a late-night slice, District Pizza & Kabob is the place to go. The slices are huge, and they're always on point. I've been back several times and I'm never disappointed.
The food was not tasty I ordered lamb and chicken plater, lamb was old and cold, also they didn’t add nan in my togo box, in the menu pic there is nan with plater.
Loved their pizza and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Was visiting my son from Phoenix and he told me about this place. Owner also gave me a complimentary drink.
Had a jumbo slice. Really good!
Terrible customer service.
Welcoming and sooooo yummy
The vegetable samosas are to die for lol, very cool employees
Good for a quick greasy late night meal
Steak and cheese hands down. My husband had a gyro bowl. It was so good too
