Really nice and luxurious high-end restaurant. Great customer service. It's a nice beautiful restaurant for a date night out! Plenty of street parking on Jefferson street and adjacent streets. There is a bar, but seating capacity is limited. Plenty of options from the bar menu. Ask for their daily specials from entree menu.
This place is WONDERFUL. Everything was top notch. Food...service (Alison was one of the best servers I've had the pleasure to come across in my life. ) ...loved the vibe. If you're in Lexington THIS place is a MUST.
Food flavors and quality were great, but the prices were very high for the portion sizes. The menu lists the entrees with a paired side, but when plated, it was difficult to find the “side” as it was really more of a garnish. You’ll definitely want to add a side item or two to share. Parking is also a bit ridiculous the first time you go if you don’t know what you’re doing. If you feel like you’re in an alley parking lot of an apartment building, you’re in the right place!
First time dining here. Now is one of my favorites in Lexington. Short ribs were amazing.
Personable staff were a pleasure to interact with. Food and drinks were superb. I enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass. Served in a reasonable amount of time. For the level of class and quality, it's even a good value. Great spot for an enjoyable and memorable evening.
The attitude and lack of attentiveness received from the personnel tending to the bar counters the delicious rating of the food. It was like I was invisible unless I flagged them down. Additionally, while ordering, the bar person started walking away in the middle of ordering. Left with an empty drink glass too. Really? Perhaps table service is different. I hope so because the place and food are amazing.
Loved the ambience! The food was amazing as well. We had the short rib tacos to start, then moved to the she crab soup and Caesar salad. For dinner, the filet and the short rib are both excellent choices. My only negative was that the bourbon list was old, so they were out of several things we wanted to try.
Distilled is a really down home elegant feel. The food was fresh as it should be given that it's a farm to table restaurant. I ordered the 14oz Kansas City strip steak. It was made well tho I ordered a medium well I recieved a well done steak. It was still tender and juicy. I had a vanilla old fashioned which could have had a bit more bourbon but still tasty. And we ordered the flourless chocolate torte which was very good.
My fried chicken was so good. Service was just ok but server was brand new.
