Dirty South BBQ House

This lil place is right off the road and, unless you made plans to come here you would just drive right on by not knowing what the building was. However, when you walk it it’s a different atmosphere. The staff each time I’ve been in (been in twice) have been great, the little shop has some neat nick knacks and the food is decent. From my experience- their pulled pork sandwich is great. I’m not a fan of the slaw they add to it, however. I was excited to try their potato salad (forgot to take a pic) but was really disappointed. It had so much onion in it that it really took away from the rest of the dish. I couldn’t take more than a few bites. The baked beans were okay- I was expecting more of a brown sugar taste, I think, and the tiny pieces of onion? And not sure what else was in it but those also threw me off so I was not ready for the current flavor. Mac and cheese was delicious! I really enjoyed this! Hush puppies were also pretty good. First time I was there, the sweet tea was just as you’d expect. However, the second time it did not taste right. Had almost like a chemical taste to it. Took one sip and tossed it. Both times I came here, I ordered to go and ate and drank when I got home so I was unable to say something at the restaurant. But I’ve heard others say they enjoyed this place a lot so I may try it one more time and order new items

Good place for a date shake.

Very good BBQ. Large menu. We had 3 different types of meat tacos, brisket, tri-tip and pork belly.

I could of drove right past this one. Outrageous prices. Mediocre food n Flys a swarming. Just drive on by.

Epic.... worth the trip from anywhere..

The pulled pork was very good as was the tri tip. Chicken was a little dry but ok. Cole slaw was Dry and no flavor. Mac was all stuck together in a mass and tasted like a starchy glob. By far the worst I have ever had. Two sauces that were good. Service was not much help. Didn't try the brisket but won't be going back. Oh, tri tip was supposed to be a half pound...not.

That place is the WORST!! I stood in line for 15 minutes and I was third in line . We're going home .

Great food ..slow service.. allow extra hour..

Came in for dinner on 3/ 29 /24 Wanted to order the platter. Was told no tri tips! Asked if we could substitute another meat... No! Ordered 2 sliders for me - and 2 for my husband. Cashier asked if we wanted coleslaw on bottom of sliders .. said yes for mine and no to my husband's. Coleslaw on all sliders!!! Potato salad was meh. Beans were meh. Friend ordered Mac n cheese .. was told they were making fresh, would take 5 minutes after all our food came out. Waited over 15 minutes and it came out with an apology for how long it took -- and it was not even warm!! Disappointed.
