Dik's Market House

Terrible customer service and careless handling of our UPS package. Based on other reviews, this is not new; however, this is my account of how things went for me. Everything appeared alright in the beginning. The woman at the counter did a brief search in the back and told us the package wasn't there, advising us to call UPS. No problem: we called UPS, who confirmed the package had been dropped off at the location hours earlier. So, we went back to inform the staff. Now, here's the reason for my 1-star rating: The woman at the counter responded with attitude, leading us to the package racks and saying, "find it yourself, it's not here." After responding that it wasn't appropriate for us to touch their packages (liability, not our responsibility to do so, etc...), another employee overheard our conversation and he was able to find it within a few minutes. He handed it to the woman, who then threw the package on the counter at us instead of handing it over properly. This action, although it might seem minor, was the culmination of disrespect and unprofessionalism throughout the whole interaction. It was literally the "straw that broke the camel's back" and prompted me to write this review. This experience was extremely disappointing to say the least. I understand that people can have "off" days, but asking a customer to do your job while being rude is unacceptable. What should have been a simple 5 minute package pick-up turned into a 45 minute ordeal.

This is one of the best experiences I ever had. “Nishant” specially is one the greatest person I have ever met in this place who always makes my morning mood great with the coffee.

He always carries a smile that makes my day whenever i visit. He always get ready with the stuff i need while i enter the store. Best store to visit. Happy with their customer service :-)

Employee was a liar and a thief did not expect that from them. Second time in that store very disappointed. I don’t recommend anyone to go there I’m not sure if it was owner or who but very unprofessional. He knew what he was doing. And i understand a little Hindi the other employee asked “what r u doing” but I didn’t understand until I looked at my change after walking out.

They have the best sandwiches for the best prices ever!!! I live across the street from this place and several times a week I go here to get the sandwiches for lunch. The staff are friendly and always helpful the store really is a hidden gem in the Coquitlam area.

The store contains all the basic items and also the delicious sandwiches. Particularly, the staff is so cooperative, patience and courteous that helps the store to maintain it's friendly and welcoming behaviour. Must visit. Must try those mouth watering sandwiches.
