Diego Pops in Scottsdale delivers a delightful culinary experience that lives up to its vibrant reputation. The sweet corn and avocado salad is a refreshing triumph, balancing crisp textures with creamy avocado and the sweet pop of corn kernels. However, the true star is the brussels sprout nachos – an ingenious twist on a classic that manages to be both indulgent and surprisingly light. The crispy sprout leaves provide a satisfying crunch, while the toppings create a harmonious blend of flavors. The well-crafted happy hour menu adds value to the experience, making Diego Pops a must-visit for those seeking innovative Mexican-inspired cuisine in a lively atmosphere.
Our favorite place to go.
Loud and happening which is fun if that’s what you’re after. Food was yum! Margs were delish. And service was exceptional! Would recommend.
Thank you, Keelyn! Food was great and service was even better. We’ll be back soon
We had a lovely evening here with great food and service.
I was dining with my family including two young children. We were all made to feel welcome. Service was fast and with a smile. We enjoyed the brussel sprout nachos and lots of different tacos. The margaritas were good too. Even on a Monday night there was a great ambiance. I’d come back any time I’m in town.
Went with a friend to Diego Pops and honestly for the 4 days I’ve been in Scottsdale, this was my best and favourite meal. It was a Monday which apparently means tacos are $3 all day, so we got a bunch to try. The margaritas were on special too for happy hour. I really enjoyed the two meat ones we had, they were my favourite. The guacamole was also super delicious and I tried street corn for the first time, which was a pleasant surprise. We sat at the bar and everyone was super friendly. If I come back one day, Diego Pops is on the itinerary
Dupree was the best! Margarita’s on point and Monday taco special! Great bar top conversation!
Happy hour and taco Monday are the bomb!! The salads are yummy too. The corn queso is delish!!
Fun little Mexican restaurant and bar. Been several times. Carne asada and fish tacos are good. Same for the brussel sprouts salad. Get the street corn appetizer.
I visited the bar for my girlfriend’s birthday on Sunday and had a fantastic experience. I sat at the bar and ordered a house margarita, which was well made and reasonably priced at $6. I really enjoyed the tacos I tried: chicken, skirt steak, crispy cod, and the pastor. The pastor taco, featuring pineapple, was especially delicious.
A special mention goes to our bartender, Delaney, who went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with everything. Her attentive service made the celebration even more enjoyable. Looking forward to returning!
Five stars for lively atmosphere. Fun place to get drinks and dinner with friends!
Four stars for service (great, but they are looking to quickly cycle through the table).
Three stars for food (standard tacos - premium upcharge not earned, queso was not edible).
Ultimately, delivers on being a “vibes / aesthetic” restaurant.
The food is not good at all and the skinny margarita was just mixer. If you’re going, go for the vibe but not for the quality. I’ve been twice now and will not go back. Also avoid the grilled street corn at all costs!!!
Disappointed and our waitress had an attitude. If you haven't had authentic Mexican street food you might like this place but if you have you might be puzzled by their clam.
Izzy was the best! So kind and welcoming!
