Dickey's Barbecue Pit

On July 4 2023 the Restaurant couldn't fore fill my pick up order and wouldn't substitute, and told me to get my refund from online but there wasn't a way to do. After not being able to get my Refund, The next day we went to the Restaurant to use our credit for our meals only to find the Restaurant with a signed that Said Closed Permanently and no follow up for information about redeeming money already spent. Online information says there Open but we've been by there and it's not open. The phone goes to ended immediately . Texas has not answered me yet...

It literally looks like this place hasn't been open for 3 years. It wasn't even open when I went there, and I think I saw just alcohol bottles on the floor in the atrium. Needless to say I didn't even go to the door. Wish there was a zero star option

Their sliced barbecue brisket is good, alone with their Cole slaw and fries.

Finally they did the public a courtesy and shut this place down. Overpriced fast food bbq. 17 bucks for a burnt ends plate netted me around 8 to 10 small pieces of meat, very dry, and 2 small sides, this was my 3rd attempt to try it out. I won't be back. Customer skills are lacking as well.

This review isn’t per se on the Food because I’ve had it several times and I’ve always enjoyed the food at this location. I spoke with someone on July 10, 2023, after I placed the order online just to get to the location and see that it was closed. The owner was inside so I called she told me that they would get my money back and call Corporate at that time. I still haven’t received my money. I’ve been trying to speak with Corporate. They won’t call me back after leaving my name, number and email address. I have no way of getting my money back. Does anyone have a way of getting in touch with anybody so I can get my money back? HELP PLEASE!

It was my first time trying Dickey’s the meats were awesome but they need to have more side with out pork.

This location does not value customers. They expect YOU to spend your time handling a dispute between them and Groupon. I purchased my Groupon Sept 2022 for dinner that night. I called to order. I was rudely told I could not order over the phone. It was so rude, I called Groupon immediately for a refund. I was informed Dickey's Groupons were non refundable. Jan 1, 2023 after a two hour flight and hungry, I decided to stop at Dickey's on my way home. Imagine my surprise when on the door it indicated, Groupons are not accepted at this location. It is the only location for this Groupon, the address is correct. I go in and ask for a manager. I ask her to explain the sign about no Groupons accepted. She claims that Groupon has been running this coupon for two years without their permission. The manager claims that they have done so much to get Groupon to stop. I told her how Groupon told me it is non refundable. She politely told me it was my responsibility to get Groupon to refund my money. Dickey's because of this location has lost me as a customer before I was even a customer. As a small business owner, I would never have a customer be inconvenienced by fighting my battles. If they needed to take legal action, that's what they should have done in these two years. I suspect there is more to the story. It will make them lose customers especially for those like me that are spreading the word. While Dickey's has lost my business, Groupon not yet. I explained the situation to the Groupon representative. He has escalated the trouble ticket. I will see how Groupon handles now that they know the details. UPDATE: Groupon have me a credit on my account.

USE TO BE MY GO TO SPOT FOR A QUICK BBQ, UNTIL I MADE A ORDER ON 07/04/2023, WENT TO PICKUP MY ORDER, WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULDNT FULLFILL MY ORDER BECAUSE THEY WERE OUT OF MEAT. ALSO THAT I WOULD GET A REFUND IN THE COMING DAYS. SORRY TO SAY THAT I DID NOT GET A REFUND, THEIR WEBSITE STATE I'D HAVE TO REACHOUT TO THE STORE THEMSELVES FOR A REFUND. TRY CALLING THE STORE NO ONE ANSWER. NOW I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE PROCESS OF A REFUND WITH MY BANK. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

2nd time visiting this location. First time, I was greeted when I walked in the door, but then ignored while I waited at the counter to place my order. I guess protocol is to wait until employees finish their personal conversations. The brisket was good though. Today at 7/8/23 (Saturday) at 12:43 pm, stopped by again to give them another try because I wanted the brisket again and the door is locked— doesn’t appear to be any workers inside during hours this location is supposed to be open. Sigh. I tried to support this business, but guess I’ll have to take my money and business elsewhere.

They are all rude especially the girl vee the food is expensive for small portions and the one named tony literally gives out free dessert and I physically saw her take money from drawer when giving me change definitely needs a change and the building had mold in kitchen near pit I would put this on my worst enemy bc their staff is full of thieves
