The place is filthy and the employees were arguing in front of us. The food was dry and disgusting. There is no way anyone should eat here if they have a choice.

Great pulled pork sandwich and fries and a drink to boot on the combo meal … I couldn’t make up my mind between the brisket and the pulled pork and the servers let me have a little taste of each, which both were fantastic … Pulled pork this time; brisket next time just to check it out … absolutely outstanding lunch … and the service was impeccable …

Visited from out of town with local family. Owner was so friendly and made sure to check that about large groups needs were met! We had 4 adults and 6 kids with us and the food was fresh, fast, and tasted so good! We will be back when we visit BR again.

Got the three meat Ribs, sliced Brisket, and chicken breast..I’m just gonna be brutally honest.. I’m a truck driver and I’ve ate barbecue all over the country , and I’ve had Dickies on more than one occasion, Now the brutally honest, they suck the ribs are tasteless , I’ve had better chicken breast in a nursing home , and the brisket is garbage as well.. the stuff is bland no seasoning, , the jalapeño bean suck, the bake potato casserole sucked wasn’t nothing good about it.. French bread was ok.. the sauce might as well been drinking vinegar horrible I’m done with Dickies .. I know barbecue and it’s many many varieties and this is low end garbage not worth your money ..but u can try and find out for yourself ..

Finally, good BBQ near LSU. Food and service was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

I tried the brisket. It's tender, not a lot of seasoning, or smoke flavor. The brisket or mac and cheese wouldn't be my top picks. The chicken is giving a 7 and the fries are good. I would definitely return for the chicken sandwich.
