Desi Village - Plano, TX

I recently dined at an incredible desi restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The chicken fried biryani was perfectly spiced, the palak mutton was rich and creamy, and the chicken tandoori had a delightful smoky flavor. Each dish was a flavor bomb! The desserts were the perfect finishing touch, and the warm ambiance made for a lovely experience. Karthik, the owner, was exceptionally knowledgeable and hospitable. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving authentic and delicious desi cuisine!

Excellent food & service. Highly recommend goat masala (bone in, the best kind), Andhra chicken curry & chicken pulav. Had food catered for a family event & everyone loved it. It’s our new to go Indian spot.

Great food! Good vibe. Only issue is service doesn’t explain what’s in the dish well. I looked on Google. The garlic naan is a must!! I recommend the vindaloo or kurma. Chicken and goat are very tender. Trust me it’s worth it! This is only my 3rd review ever! Try it out for yourself.

Came here for lunch. You have 1 young man serving For 15 customers. He is unable to deliver food items on time. He doesn’t remember orders. Had to ask 3 times for the same drink order. Also he said you guys do not serve cold water. You are running a restaurant in a town called Plano in Texas where it gets pretty hot. We are Not in India. If a customer asks for a cold water, I don’t care where you are. You better stock your mini fridge with bottled water. Poor service reflective of poor ownership. Will save my money and go across the street. Poor service all around. Felt bad for young man. Ownership needs to invest more money in offering better service.

Very bad navratna kurma. Just full of heavy cream and very minimal veggies. The rice offered with it undercooked. Please work on the quality of the food.

Food was delicious. We ate goat and the meat was really tender. Nice ambiente, too.
