Denny's

Today I had the pleasure of meeting one of the best waiters I've ever seen. Carl was incredibly nice and upbeat, handled everything quickly and efficiently, and even took the time to return an object I had left at the table. By far the best experience I've ever had at a Denny's, thanks Carl.

Good food.

This is the good Denny's in town. Anyone who knows anything about Denny's and the history/lore of Denny's since (about) the 90s or so, knows what that means. Now, granted, Denny's in general has been improving as a whole, and they've made some notable menu changes that have panned out in their favor. Still, it's Denny's, and that makes it subject to the individual operations-- the cooks, the servers, even the patrons/demographic. But this one is decent in the food department, and the late night scene isn't too sketchy or weird. It's great people watching when it does get a bit odd, but it's never too much to enjoy your meal, in my experience. The kitchen has messed up a couple things here and there when we've gone, but it's nothing serious. And they've been out of a couple of items a few times, but that's to be expected. All in all, it's definitely worth the calories to go. My only complaint? I definitely wish they had more gluten free options. But that's a corporate issue, not the fault of this particular restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There's nothing here that kids wouldn't enjoy.

The waitress was great and that's about it. The cook was being VERY rude to the waitress and the fact that I could hear him should speak VOLUMES about how loud he was talking. I know that if I didn't find any of his talk humorous, neither did the waitress and the other customers. My stuffed french toast was burnt and nasty. The grill was way too hot...

My order was not ready even though I ordered before going to go pick up. When I arrived my order was not there and was not supposedly called in. Rather than get my order taken down and made . The staff there was rude and said" " I don't know what to tell you.." Not going there sgain

Really upset ordered through uber spent 78$.Nachos were missing ingredients only had queso on the side and chips were burnt,no seasoning on burger or potatoes and brown gravy and sausage instead of country gravy on biscuits and gravy. Could not get a refund for any part of the order so it was a very disappointing experience for my family

Breakfast was good very quiet place

Had my sister's birthday in the banquet room. Originally thought Denny's was a cheesy location for my sister's b-day. But I was wrong. Our party consisted of around 30, with about a dozen children. At first, I felt sort of bad for our respective server (I can't for the sake of me remember his name, very sorry) because he seemed a little overwhelmed. But after he got out drinks, he rocked it for the rest of the evening. He may have not been pivot-pointing when taking our orders, but when serving them, I give him a ton of credit by staggering our food so that the first person who gets their plate is still eating by the time the last plate hits the table from the kitchen. Don't get me wrong, the kitchen deserves as much credit. Especially if it's just one or two cooks on-the-clock. I had the chicken fried steak w/mashed potatoes & gravy, mixed vegetables and a dinner roll. Surprisingly, the steak was really good. Moist and seasoned perfectly. Potatoes, veggies, and roll were on par with what I would expect from a casual dining chain. Tasty, but nothing special. My bill for my plate came to 17-something after tax. If I could make any recommendations, it would try to be more attentive on de-icing the parking lot/ exterior walkway. Our reservation was 5:30pm but the everywhere you walked to and from your car was a sheet of ice. Also, when having a party of guests in the banquet room, I would suggest bringing the tables together, rather than leaving them along the walls. If felt sort of segregated with a group of family on one side of the room and another group along another side, etc. Other than those minor discrepancies, it was a positive experience. They're didn't seem to be a wait for anyone just walking in and sat a couple behind us very quickly. This was in late January. Hope this helps! Kid-friendliness: For children, there is an abundant amount of food items that are specific towards. Not including items like pancakes, waffles, or other general foods that are not designed for any particular age range. They also have large sheets of copied coloring paper to color for passing time. Unfortunately, they only had orange crayons and that was it. Only orange. Lol.
