I like the fact that Del Taco uses no lard in their refried beens, and prepare ingredients daily. It really shows in the freshness and taste of the food. I can't have all the fat and lard due to heart disease, so it's gives me options when I'm on the road for a healthier choice.
The crunchtada is my go-to at Del Taco because the tortilla is always crisp, not soggy. And you get filled up for about $1.50.
Place was nice, clean , and service was average even though they were not busy. The food was ok, the snack tacos as they call them were really good, but soggy (typical), the other food I ordered was ok, but the shrimp burrito now it SUCKED, NO flavor and I had more tortilla than filling. FYI, check your bags BETTER you leave. They almost forgot my fish tacos and acted annoyed when I brought it up
I bought 4 shrimp taco and only 2 of them had the special sauce. But, everything was hot, which makes a difference!
