Really nice place

I and my partner stayed there on 29th March we paid for breakfast on arrival that very same day in the morning we went to have breakfast after that we took off whilst we were in the car one of the waiters run to the parking shouting us and we stopped he said you haven’t paid for breakfast can you imagine the shame and disgrace..of all people there why did he run and assume that we didn’t pay am black woman by colour and nature and I took this down to racism cause they saw a black woman with white man and they labelled us of not being capable to pay £21 for breakfast-disgusting HK.

Rooms: Would have like a different room

The pub itself looks quite nice and is in a good location on the main road through the village. However the Guinness here was a disappointment - grease stains in the glass show it hasn't been washed properly, and there were bubbles in the head. Not a good tasting pint so 3/5 overall.

Wonderful experience. Brilliant food at a reasonable price and very pleasant service from Somerset and Helen. Food & drinks: Delicious!

Shabby but friendly

Peaceful location. Welcoming, helpful, polite and friendly staff. Great selection of drinks and traditional pub dishes. Delightful breakfast.
