Actually lived up to the hype. First to last ingredient were stellar. Cute little traditional -real- Italian venue

Changing my review ordered a pizza on 4/6/24 at 12 in the afternoon was told it would be ready at 645 when I picked it up it was cold not even warm throughly disappointed. I also ordered garlic bread with sauce which was also cold and had no sauce wish they would have called to say it's ready then eating a cold pizza still tasted good but disappointed they're usually better than this.

My first time eating here. We ordered a pizza and it was delicious! We also ordered their Hangover Cake, and it was amazing!!! The staff are very nice. Definitely going back.

Really enjoyed this Pizza. Comet Pizza, Cheese on the Bottom Basil on top. Sausage salad was great.

Becmst pizza and customer service

My girlfriend and I planned a special stop here on a recent trip through NY based on the One Bite review and Dave declaring it a must-do for all real pizza enthusiasts. We walked into the rustic dining room/takeout area to place our order and our hearts sank when they told us the pizza oven was booked solid until 7:30PM! We should have known this place would be busy when we saw customers carrying armloads of pizzas out the door as we came in. We started to turn away defeated, when the nice lady at the counter said they could squeeze one pie in for us on the spot. We sat down and soaked in the old school ambience of the bustling kitchen and dining area and watched as their pasta guy cranked out fresh made pasta. Within a few minutes our pizza arrived and we dug in. We've followed Dave's reviews all over Jersey, NY, Philly and New Haven, and he struck gold when he found De Fazio's (which I'm sure was already a local legend.) This pizza ranked right up there with all of the titans of pizza. The dough is what really made it for me. After we ate we stopped next door at the goods store where you can buy merch and a lot of their various ingredients and got a chance to chat with the very personable owner. He is very proud of his pizza, and with good reason. Hats off to this place for their friendly employees and not letting the fame go to their heads. So glad we made the special trip and were able to experience this place. Can't recommend them enough, and make sure to try a slice of their hangover cake.
