I absolutely enjoyed my experience in December for my birthday!! The food was AMAZING!! Great portions for the price.
Let me just state upfront that I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian. If you aren't either, don't let that stop you from trying DC Vegan. My friend had one of the "bowl" meals and was very happy with it. I had the potato skins and loved them! They were topped with a delicious cream that was better than sour cream and "bacon" bits that were very tasty. We both had desserts (oreo pie and peanut butter/chocolate pie) and they were to die for! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
Love this place! The food is flavorful with great texture, the owners are kind and will introduce themselves if they haven’t met you before, and the weight staff is accommodating. It has a trendy, but chill vibe if you ask me. I recommend making reservations ahead of time because The inside is not huge. Order anything off the menu and you will probably like it! I’m working my way through it and will update when I have a list of favorites!
Very accommodating for me and my friend that has a cashew allergy. Great food and even better cheesecake
Food wasn't fresh, cold and not tasty at all. Felt like it was a prepared meal someone forgot to hit in the microwave and the price for the dishes are super high! Too bad because the service was really nice and cocktails were lovely, and the atmosphere was great as well. Wouldn't go there again unless I know the kitchen has changed from end to end. Vegetarian options: Food wasn't good at all, kitchen seems to be unhygienic
The crispy artichoke bowl is the best vegan food that I've had in DC. Artichoke was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a great crunch. The bowl is by default half grains and half salad. I really liked the grains, so next time I will ask to see if the half salad can be substituted for all grains! I was also eyeing the desserts but opted out of getting anything, although they are still on my bucket list!
