Historic Dayton Canoe Club. Wonderful access to the river. Parking is a challenge, but worth the short walk to tour the historic club.

This is a true Dayton original! Every square inch is steeped in history, from the river's edge canoe livery to the ballroom upstairs. They have a full kitchen and a dandy fireplace in the den. Applications are way behind if you want to join, expect to wait months or years. Hopefully you will get an invite to some event from a member friend.
