Visited because we have been enjoying watching Dan on Top Chef! We brought our kids and were disappointed that our waitress described the restaurant as "not kid oriented" when we asked about non spicy options. She said there was a kid's menu but did not have a copy or know what was on it. We ended up ordering something she mentioned and then were upcharged, more than the adult sized item. When we asked for non alcoholic drink options, she said water or coke. Surely there must be a tea or mocktail to offer? Our entrees were delicious but other things on the menu (potstickers) were not worth the price for us. Crappy way to spend that much money on dinner... the menu prices to not seem to match the vibe in the restaurant! Kid-friendliness: Would not recommend, as our waitress said "we only have one booster seat" and the menu is not "kid oriented". Mentioned a kid menu but did not have any copy or qr code with detail or pricing. There are many other great Asian options in Milwaukee, have hadfamily friendly experiences at all!

Fantastic. This place was so good. We went after Dan was on Top Chef and it did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options

You have to make a reservation with it being a busy restaurant with limited hours! This is an upscale Chinese restaurant that did not disappoint. I loved the veggie momo dumplings. The bao buns were great. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the pad see ew (with shrimp) because we ate it too quickly. Even my vodka cocktail was perfect! It was very busy and slightly understaffed, but the host checked in on is when he could because he knew the waitress was backed up. The only thing I wouldn't recommend would be the mini cream puffs. The ganache and lemon curd were good but the pastry I think was a little over done. We went because one of the Dan's is on the current Top Chef season, and it was definitely worth the visit!

I don’t think that it lives up to the hype. It was freezing in the dining room. We had to keep our coats on the whole time. The table are so close together we had to wait and maneuver both to get in and out. The crab Rangoon was delicious but tiny. I had the beef fun it was very sweet. It reminds me of the meatballs made with grape jelly that people often make for appetizers. The beef was quite well done and very hard to chew. The service was not bad but not outstanding either. This is where the whole thing turns sour for me. They added a 5% employee benefit to the bill. Nowhere was this posted or stated to us. I’m over these sneaky tactics. You want to do a risky job. Take your chances or raise the price on the menu and do away with tipping all together. Needless to say I didn’t feel like it was a 25-30% experience so I adjusted my tip to include the 5%, for a standard 20%. I won’t return or recommend this restaurant.

Sat down and waited for 20 minutes and was never helped. But overlooking their overpriced menu while sitting, helped make our decision to leave. So don’t bother going, there is better Chinese food in Milwaukee

I always have a fantastic experience when I come here. The veggie momo is my favorite thing on the menu along with cauliflower. Highly recommend

The atmosphere is ultra-modern and felt cold. The institutional styling that so many places go with just feels stale. It's always a disappointment when I see that upon entry somewhere new. The service however is outstanding. Eom (apologies for any spelling error) was just wonderful. He was attentive and offered suggestions that those who chose his recommendations were quite pleased. I remember that the ones who ordered the Beef Chow Fun (one of his recommendations) said it was delicious. I don't remember the others. I personally ordered the Pad See Ew with Chicken. So tasty. Very satisfying. Parking: There is a parking lot, but there is signage that it is private until a certain time. I found a street space just down the block.

Some of the food was edible but each item was flawed in various degrees. It is unfortunate to have poor experiences. It ranged from underseasoned, greasy, dried out( looked premade ( made earlier and reheated), undercooked and overseasoned ( salty). Normally I leave it alone but it was a strike out. Not mad just sad
