Dad's Favorites Deli

Let me tell you, the owner takes pride into his restaurant and it shows! This is one of the best little food spots in the area, made fresh daily and all amazing. If you're new and the owner is there, he will take the time to talk to you about his menu and help you find the perfect order. Literally haven't had a single item I haven't enjoyed here. 10/10 you have to try it!

I cannot highly recommend this place enough. It's a must-go-to when going through Lexington. The food and service were top tier . Welcoming, friendly personal service with such great food. Ate every last crumbs of 2 tacos and a tortaritto on the spot. I'll be counting the days until I come back

Favorite veggie sandwich in town

Best hidden gem in Lexington! Their cheese sauces are incredible and it’s definitely family owned and you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door.

I truly CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Dad’s. We saw this place recommended online, and my husband, baby daughter, and I were so eager to check it out. We rushed to get there and showed up an hour til close, and somehow they magicked up one last special for us to share- a chicken cordon bleu sandwich that made every other sandwich we’ve ever had absolutely pale in comparison (this is 100% not an exaggeration). Given we’re from out of town, we felt so welcomed when Dad himself walked over and greeted us like we were local regulars, and walked us through the ordering process while giving us much appreciated information and guidance. We were also treated to a free sample of the side special that day- Sweet and sour chicken- and it was DELICIOUS! My husband and I also split a chipotle cheddar roast beef that was perfection. Our only regret is that we didn’t find this place sooner, and that we can’t somehow franchise this in our hometown of Asheville, NC. Thank you, truly, to Dad’s for the immense hospitality and for treating us like family- thank you also for being a highlight of our trip to Kentucky! You can bet we’ll make it a point to come back!
