Ate here while staying at the Inn. I am a vegan and besides a couple vegetable side dishes, there was nothing on the menu for me to enjoy as an entree. Ended up paying a lot for pasta with olive oil & garlic as a sauce. What I did eat was good. In 2024, surprised to find such a carnivore only menu. Dietary restrictions: No vegan entree options.
Needed to get up and ask for water, needed to get up and ask for silverware, food was lacking (why was there only three shrimp in my pasta, but 6 empty shells?). We were never asked if we needed refills on our water or drink. And when leaving the hostess was on her phone and didn’t even say, “Thank you”. Pretty sad.
We are staying at the Inn and decided to eat at the restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere and view are beautiful! We were able to enjoy the sunset while we waited for the food. It was a good thing we weren’t in a hurry because the service was terrible. There was no one there to seat us when we arrived and then when someone finally came she just told us to sit anywhere. Our server came shortly after but was impossible to find after that moment. We got drinks and an appetizer after a long wait and then waited a long time for our food to come to not have utensils to eat it with. By the time we got the food and the utensils, the food was lukewarm. Although it tasted good the temperate was not ideal. Also by the time we got the food the sun had set so it was a bit dark to see what we were eating and it got a bit cold. I’m glad we were staying at the hotel so I could grab jackets for us.
Brunch is great! Food is fantastic and service is very good. The view is also amazing. Kennedy our server was top notch!
We were staying at the Inn and enjoyed brunch and dinner on the rooftop Cypress. The food is beautiful and delicious. Cocktails are fun. The menu is refreshing with lots of items to choose from. Everyone in our dinner group was stoked with their choices. Brunch was delish with views of breaching whales! The service at the Cypress was off the hook! Every server we had was perfectly responsive and super friendly. They gave us lots of tips and suggestions for local happenings. We took their advice on some nearby wineries and we had a blast. I’ve been going to Pismo since I was a kid and we will definitely be back.
Quiet Tuesday but drinks, atmosphere and food was great!
