Loved the chicken tikka masala pizza the staff were very courteous and the pizza had a good indian flavour to it reminded me of the fusion food I used to have in India.
favorite indian place in dc
We ordered the saag paneer pizza and butter chicken. While the butter chicken was flavorful, I anticipated a bit more depth. Also, it seemed like they may have mixed up the spice levels between the dishes. Our pizza was significantly spicier than our friend's who also ordered medium spice level. The mango lassi we tried was decent, nothing extraordinary.
Great food, we ordered 2 starters and 2 entrée and they all were very flavourful. Chicken tikka pizza was good and so was the veg biryani. Biryani items were not present in menus or I wasn’t able to see them but the server helped us with it. We asked for extra hot and they made it well, try extra hot only it you can withstand it else go for mild or medium. And yes, all entrées is served along with white rice. They have few types of Indian beers priced reasonably at $6-$7 range. Overall, the place though is small it has good food and priced well. Vegetarian options: Veg Korma, Paneer tikka masala, lentil soup, veg pakora, veg biryani.
the food was very tasty! the atmosphere is calm. the guy who served us was very nice, smiled and helped us with our choice. great place
